If you desire to go to college, need occupational or job skills training, need information about career opportunities, or want a brighter future, contact the Educational Opportunity Center. We are here to help you.
Our services include:
- Assessment of your basic skills in the areas of reading, mathematics, and language.
- Assistance with admission to adult education centers, GED programs, colleges, universities or vocational training schools throughout the state.
- Career guidance counseling to help you determine your job interests and abilities.
- Assistance in completing financial aid and grant scholarship applications as well as assistance in locating sources of additional financial support for your education.
The Educational Opportunity Center is a federally funded project designed to assist adults in gaining access to post-secondary educational programs and to improve their chances of success.
Our services are free to eligible participants. The EOC administrative office is located on Rogers State University's Claremore campus. Additional outreach centers are located in Oklahoma City, Tulsa and several rural counties throughout Oklahoma.
