Research Consultation

What is a research consultation?

It is an individual search session, up to an hour in length, in which a student works intensively with a librarian to identify the best sources for a given topic. It is scheduled in advance so both individuals can plan their time and the librarian can search out some of the information beforehand.

How do I schedule one?

Contact one of the librarians listed below and plan with that person when you will meet. The librarian must agree to a time for you to have an appointment.

At least three days’ notice should be given for the librarian to prepare written notes for the consultation. Impromptu consultations might also be available without a written worksheet.
