Located on campus, you’re close to the classrooms, library, and student center.

The student apartments are only few minutes walk from where you need to be. The unique custom floor plans are designed exclusively for student use.

Each unit includes:

• full-service kitchen with a stove, dishwasher and refrigerator
• built-in dining/study area
• wall-to-wall carpeting in all bedrooms and living areas
• pre-wired for cable TV
• bedrooms wired with a data port, high speed internet access, and phone line
• maximum of two residents per bath
• all with individual lease liability

Important Notes

1. The university pays water, electric, sewer, trash, and gas for the hot water system, which saves you about 20 percent over in-unit electric water heaters. All units are energy-efficient, well-insulated, and feature low-consumption appliances. Each unit has its own thermostatically controlled central air conditioning and heating.
2. All units have full kitchens with stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Optional meal plans are available.
3. The Student Apartments do not close during academic breaks. You are welcome to stay in your unit throughout the contract term.
4. Payments need to be arranged through RSU online payment plan system.
5. If your account is not paid in full by the end of the semester, a $50 late fee will be assessed.
6. A limited number of rooms adapted for persons with special accessibility needs are available. Early submission of this application is more likely to result in successfully securing these rooms.
7. All apartments are furnished with the following:
   • Each bedroom includes:
     • a bed (mattress and frame)
     • desk
     • desk chair
     • chest of drawers
   • The commons area of each apartment includes:
     • a couch
     • coffee table
     • end table
     • dinette chairs
     • built-in dining table

FAQs

1. Do I have individual contract liability?
   Residents of off-campus apartments are generally required to share responsibility for the entire apartment contract or lease. That means that if one roommate does not pay his or her share - all the others have to come up with the money or face possible eviction. At the RSU Student Apartments you have an individual contract so you will not be responsible for your roommate’s portion.
2. What is the floor plan?
   Our four-bedroom, two-bath units can accommodate your roommate plans. Some students already have friends with whom they want to share an apartment. Other students may use our roommate matching service. Our apartments are already furnished and provide a great balance of privacy and economy.
3. Why live on campus?
   In addition to the obvious advantages of being close to your classes and campus activities, and having access to campus resources, studies show that students living on campus actually have a greater opportunity for growth and success. Living in a student community enhances the learning process and better prepares the individual for the real world. Just as important, living in the RSU Student Apartments is fun. The heart of the action, the closeness of your peers, and the privacy of your living quarters are just some of the many reasons that this is the best place to get the most out of your college experience.

5. What’s an RA?
   RA stands for Resident Assistant. RAs are live-in students trained and dedicated to making your RSU experience the best it can be. Each RA has a sp ecific area of the apartment community for which he/she is responsible. The RAs coordinate area and community-wide social, educational, and recreational activities. At least one RA is available to you 24 hours a day as a community resource.
6. What do I have to do?
   Mail your completed and signed Housing Application along with $200 deposit to RSU. Call 918-343-7789 if you have any questions
7. Then what happens?
   Upon receipt and processing of your application, depending on space availability, we will prepare and send back a contract for your review and signature. Once we receive your completed contract, your room assignment will be made and you will be notified of your room number and your roomates. Rooms are assigned on a space-availability basis, so do not delay.
8. What qualifies me to be eligible for housing?
   In order to be eligible to apply for a housing contract, RSU students must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll full time (12 credit hours). New students are encouraged to complete the admissions application process early.
