Family Apartments

To meet the needs of our students with families, RSU is proud to offer the RSU Family Apartments. These recently refurbished apartments combine the convenience and security of on-campus living with the family-friendly setting our students desire. The apartments are located in Ledbetter Hall, which is located on the west side of Herrington Hall.

The RSU Family Apartments provide a community where you and your family can achieve academic and personal success. The entire Residential Life staff (live-in management, resident assistants, maintenance personnel, etc.) is here to help further those goals any way we can.

Note: The number of family apartments are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Important Notes

1. Family Housing rates include water/sewer, hot water, cable, high-speed internet access, local phone and access to all on-site amenities.
2. All units are one bedroom, one bath featuring on-campus convenience, in a family friendly setting.
3. All units have full kitchens with dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and stove top. Optional meal plans are available.
4. The RSU Family Apartments do not close during academic breaks. You are welcome to stay in your unit throughout the contract term.
5. RSU Family Apartments are limited to three family members per unit, with at least one being a full-time RSU student. Age limit for children is 10 years old or younger.
6. The Family Apartments are unfurnished to allow residents maximum flexibility to meet their family’s needs.

1. Why live on campus?
   On campus housing allows an affordable solution for families with members who are earning their degree. Studies have consistently shown that students living on campus have a greater opportunity for personal growth and success. In addition to the obvious advantages of being close to your classes and campus activities, the RSU Family Apartments provide a supportive environment for our students who are balancing family priorities and educational opportunities.
2. Who can live in the RSU Family Apartments?
   The RSU Family Apartments will be limited to three family members per unit, with at least one resident being a RSU student. Age limit for children is 10 years old or younger.
3. What amenities are included with the apartment?
   These contemporary apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and stovetop. The bedroom features two separate closets. On-site laundry facilities are available.
4. Are the apartments furnished?
   The RSU Family Apartments are unfurnished in order to allow our residents maximum flexibility to meet their family’s needs.
5. Is on-campus childcare available?
   Yes. Located just a short walk across campus from the Family Apartments, the RSU Child Development Center serves the community’s childcare needs with priority enrollment given to the children of RSU students, faculty, and staff. The Child Development Center offers full-service childcare and a progressive preschool curriculum. Part-time and full-time enrollments are available. Call 343-7863 for more information.
6. What about utilities?
   Your rent payment includes all utilities including electric, water, sewer, trash, natural gas, local phone, cable, and high-speed internet access.
7. What do I have to do to sign up?
   Send your completed and signed Housing Application along with a $200 check payable to RSU. Call 918-343-7789 if you have any questions.
8. Then what happens?
   Upon receipt and processing of your application, depending on space availability, we will prepare and send back a contract for your review and signature. Complete a Family Housing Application now.
