Chief Student Affairs Officer

Rogers State University is a dynamic public university located on a beautiful historic campus in Claremore, Oklahoma, with branch campuses in Bartlesville and Pryor.  The University is transitioning from a community college to a regional university and has approximately 3,300 students.

The Chief Student Affairs Officer (Dean or Vice President, depending upon educational attainment and experience) will function as the senior student affairs officer for the University and report to the President.   Providing leadership, direction, and oversight for residence life, student activities and organizations, student development, counseling and student disability services, student health center, on-campus childcare, career planning and placement, judicial affairs, student support services, and student grievance procedures, and other student life functions.   Responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating programs and policies of the student services function of the University.  Provides budgetary oversight to all student affairs areas.   Participate in a variety of committees to address the needs of students, faculty, and staff. 

Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree with a commitment to completion of an earned doctorate.  Doctorate degree in student personnel, higher education, or a closely related field preferred; 5 years experience in a student affairs/student services at the university level.  Demonstrate competency in program, staff and budget development.
