How You Can Participate

It's officially time to get our teams registered for this year's Bowl For Kids' Sake.

Here's a checklist:

  • Form a team of 5 (including yourself). It doesn't matter how well you bowl, it's about the kids.
  • Register your team online at www.bfksclaremore.org. Come up with a creative name and make sure you select RSU as your team company. Once it is created, get your teammates to register for the team.
  • Raise your money – each team needs to raise $500 ($100 per bowler). Friends, family, colleagues, and/or complete strangers can donate to your team by accessing the website above. You can also send them the link to your team page and/or personal BFKS page.
    • Facebook and twitter have been used with much success.
    • Bake sales and other team fundraisers are great ways to bring in the money.
    • For those who may solicit checks and/or cash in addition to online donations, I have team packets to give to you. Just contact me and I will bring them over.
  • Show up and bowl on RSU Night at The Lanes at Coffee Creek in Owasso. It is sure to be a lot of fun.

Reminders:

  • The RSU team that raises the most money will be awarded the Golden Pin. In addition, their team photo will be displayed in the Centennial Center throughout the year.
  • RSU is competing with most of the local companies/organizations in Claremore to enter the most teams.
  • Individuals who raise $125 or more will be entered into a drawing for an Ipad mini.

If you have any questions or need a team packet for cash/checks, please let me know. Remember, every dollar we raise will stay right here in Rogers County and go straight to serving youth in need of a positive mentor. Thank you for your support.
