Samantha Cockrell
Student

Samantha is the first student to major in RSU’s new Public Administration program.

A graduate of Locust Grove High School, Samantha completed her general educaton requirements at Northeastern State University.

Because she plans to work in county government, Samantha transferred to Rogers State in order to take advantage of the professional education offered by the Public Administration degree.

Matt Mueller
Assistant City Manager of Claremore

Mr. Mueller is a strong supporter of RSU’s Public Administration program. He said the degree would be a “huge resume boost for employment at any public agency.”

He declared the field of government service “will be growing exponentially due to the imminent retirement of the baby boomers in the workforce.”
