April 8-26, 2010
- Each art student entering the show must fill out, legibly, the attached entry form. An entry (also attached) must be completed for each piece entered. The label must be attached to the back of the piece with tape so that the label can be flipped over the upper right-hand corner. The label must be visible from the front for judging purposes, but will be removed before the show.
- Works not accompanied be a signed and completed entry form will not be accepted. Art should be signed and dated on the front.
- Each student may enter a maximum of 6 pieces from either the Spring 2010 semester and/or the Summer/Fall 2009 semesters. If you frame your pieces, Plexiglas and wood strip frames are preferred. White, gray, or black mats should be used for photography prints if possible.
- There are no media or category boundaries for this show. Work must be verified original and should not be a direct copy from a copyrighted works. (Copy work is good practice, but is usually not suitable for art show entries).
- Work will be accepted until: April 2, 2010 – 5:00pm
- Student’s artwork will be available for retrieval on April 26th, 2010, 4:00-5:00pm. If work is not retrieved by this date it will be stored for a short period of time then the art will become the property of Rogers State University Art Department and will be handled accordingly.
- Art must be ready to hang. Wires are to be on paintings, mats on watercolors, photos, pastels, collages, etc. (Think of others! Art will be stacked, so eliminate possible damage problems. Wet oils are not to be entered. Sharp nails and edges etc. are to be eliminated.)
- Glass will be reluctantly accepted. Using Plexiglas makes the Foundations Gallery Manager happy.
- Mats and frames should be neat and clean and not ornate. Keep the mats simple and clean. Mats should play a secondary visual role to your art.

Media means what materials(s), process (es) you used to create your piece. Example: Oils, Acrylic, Tempera, Watercolor, Pen & Ink, Mixed Media, Computer Graphics, Photography, Ceramics, Sculpture, Collage, Linoleum, Print, Airbrush, Colored Pencils, Magic Markers, Oil Pastels, etc.
