Jennifer Hanley blogging from ItalyStudent Blogger

My name is Jennifer Hanley and I am a graphic design student at Rogers State University. I am 25 years old and should graduate in May 2009. I’m still relatively new to the area - I moved to Claremore in July of 2007. I love RSU and I really like the area.

While I was born in Tulsa, I spent most of my life growing up in San Antonio, Texas. While I’m still a Texas girl at heart, I really enjoy Oklahoma and I especially enjoy the weather. It’s nice to live in a place that actually has seasons, although I could have gone without that crazy ice storm this past winter.

But one of the best things about living here and going to RSU is this incredible opportunity to go to Italy for a month! I get to study art, history, and culture while immersed in the place that I’m studying about. I truly do not think I could come up with a better way to spend a month. Well, perhaps a few improvements involving hunky Italian men and a giant yacht or villa could be made, but hey, I’m not doing bad so far!

I have also been given the honor of being the RSU student blogger for the trip. I am proud to represent my school in Italy and I am happy to share all of my experiences and those of my classmates with all of you. I hope you enjoy reading about our adventures abroad and hope that this trip and the blog become a RSU tradition for many years to come.
